Impact PlayFest is Singapore’s first-ever social impact game festival launched in 2023. In our first edition in Singapore, we saw more than 300 participants, with over 20 game creators helming play booths tackling some of society's biggest issues through play! Impact Play Fest is a one-of-a-kind event that highlights the ability of games to inspire social change, bringing together creators, players, and communities to examine how play can serve a meaningful purpose.
Impact Play Fest is the result of a dynamic collaboration between three pioneering social enterprises in Singapore - Happiness Initiative, Bold At Work, and Friendzone. United by a shared passion for creating games that spark social change and fuel a love for play, these festival co-organizers are leading the charge in using games as a force for good.
The theme for 2025 is "Where Play Meets Purpose". This year's theme honors games as influential instruments for inspiring, educating, and promoting positive change globally. The event aims to invite everyone to discover how games can nurture empathy, initiate action, and unite us all.
